Cate Muther

Catherine Muther is the founder and president of the Three Guineas Fund, a foundation whose mission is to create economic opportunity for women and girls.  Muther was the Founding Chair of the Board of Acumen Fund.  She is also the founder of Astia, a global business accelerator for women high growth entrepreneurs; and Springboard, a platform and hub for financing women entrepreneurs in technology industries.  Ms. Muther was the Senior Marketing Officer at Cisco Systems.  She served as a trustee of Mills College, Sarah Lawrence College and Cambridge University in America.  She is a member of the Advisory Board of Acumen Fund, and the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship at Duke University. At this time, Muther is a guest professor in economics at Sarah Lawrence Colllege.  She teaches a seminar on Global Poverty and Social Entrepreneurship.  She earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, MA degree from Cambridge University, and BA from Sarah Lawrence College.
