Jennifer Ratay

Jennifer Ratay is Executive Director of Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2), a Silicon Valley-based philanthropy group that trains effective philanthropists and supports many of the region's most innovative nonprofit organizations.  Previously Ratay served as Program Officer for Organizational Effectiveness at the Hewlett Foundation and worked at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.  At Stanford, she served as an MBA Admissions Officer and subsequently as the Associate Director of the Center for Social Innovation’s Public Management Program. Ratay also worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts, National Wildlife Federation, Worldwatch Institute, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).  She also served as a consultant to the Aspen Institute and as a Capitol Hill legislative aide managing U.S. Representative Marty Meehan’s policy work.  Ratay holds a B.A. in government with a minor in environmental studies from Dartmouth College and an M.P.A. specializing in international development from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
