Jessamyn Lau

Jessamyn Lau joined the Peery Foundation as its first staff member in May of 2009.  Her contributions as Program Leader have been vital towards shaping the foundation’s strategy and developing programs.  Additionally, she is responsible for strengthening the foundation’s portfolio and directly supporting existing grantees.  Lau’s MBA from BYU and time spent with Ashoka U have given her the perspective and skill-set to help the Peery Foundation develop new methods to support and build the field of social entrepreneurship.  Lau also helped launch the Peery Social Entrepreneurship Program (PSEP) at BYU's Ballard Center, a cross campus initiative providing opportunities for students and faculty to engage with social entrepreneurship through curriculum, experiential learning, and research.
