Ashoka U Changemaker Campus Network Grows to 40 Institutions as 3 More Campuses are Designated

Three additional higher education institutions have joined the global network of Changemaker Campuses: Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA; University of California San Diego in San Diego, CA; and University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Congratulations!

Changemaker Campus is the leading designation for social innovation in higher education, led by Ashoka U. Program Manager & Program Associate, Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society

The Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS) is hiring for two new positions – Program Manager & Program Associate:

  • The Program Manager will work with the Director of Finance, Operations and Grants Management to support scholar programming and faculty research. The Program Manager will participate in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, enabling programs, services, and events to meet business objectives. Learn more here.
  • The Program Associate will primarily, but not exclusively, support The Digital Civil Society Lab. The Lab investigates the challenges and opportunities facing civil society organizations in the digital age, and develops resources to help nonprofits and foundations use digital resources safely, ethically and effectively. Baltimore Corps Fellowship

Baltimore Corps enlists talent to advance social innovation in Baltimore and establish a citywide agenda for equity and racial justice. The Baltimore Corps Fellowship places individuals in full-time, paid, year-long positions alongside the city’s most visionary cause leaders, working in nonprofit, government, and social enterprise. The application for the next Fellowship cohort is now open, and will be available on their website until April 21st.

The Encore Prize: Generation to Generation Challenge

The Encore Prize will be awarded to two individuals or organizations launching the next generation of programs and products that bring the talent of 50+ adults to help kids at risk. Amani Institute – Build a career of meaning and impact!

Applications are now open for Amani Institute’s 9-month post-graduate certificate in Social Innovation Management! Amani’s approach helps participants unlock potential to make an impact, extend global networks, and learn cutting-edge professional skills from C-suite global leaders. CGI U 2017– Application Deadline is May 1

Hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, the CGI U 2017 meeting will take place at Northeastern University on October 13-15, 2017. CGI U gathers 1,000 student innovators and entrepreneurs from over 70 countries to make “Commitments to Action” within five focus areas: environment and climate change, education, peace and human rights, poverty alleviation, and public health.  Students can apply here and universities and faculty can get engaged via the CGI University Network. Deadline is May 1.
