Are today’s college students really less empathetic?
Bill Drayton, the Founder of Ashoka, says that systems change and great social entrepreneurship starts with empathy. A recent research study by Sara Konrath, at the University of Michigan, found that college students today are 40 percent less empathetic than those of 30 years ago, with the numbers plunging primarily after 2000.
