Join the Ashoka U Team

In 2008, Ashoka U launched as a program of Ashoka, because after three decades of working with leading social entrepreneurs (over 3,000 in 70 countries), we realized that far more changemakers were needed to become the architects of a sustainable and flourishing society.

Will you join us to take this growing movement to the next level of influence in higher education? Ashoka U is facing immense opportunity, but we need a dream team to take advantage of them. Your contribution has the potential to leave a lasting legacy at Ashoka U.

Full Time Positions

Exchange Manager

The Exchange is more than just a conference. Now in its ninth year, it is a convening that influences thousands of educators to change the way they teach to bring social impact and changemaking to the forefront of the student experience. Over the course of three days, participants are featured front and center – making up over 70% of the content that is featured on the agenda.

In addition to learning, community and inspiration are core goals of the Exchange. Each year brings a new flavor and new ideas for how we can encourage connection and collaboration across such a large group of highly diverse attendees.  The Ashoka U Exchange Team believes that it is our role to bring the right people together and create the right conditions for magic to happen.

The Exchange Manager will work closely with the Exchange Director to plan, organize and implement the Exchange. They will be responsible for helping project manage the many teams involved in making the Exchange a success, as well as leading many of the external facing communications platforms. We expect the Exchange Manager to be organized, resourceful, professional and able to take ownership of both strategy and operational efficiency as needed. They will join a fast-paced team of implementers and effective project managers and be immediately immersed in the worlds of higher education, social innovation, and event curation.
