2017 Exchange Early Bird Registration Open Until Nov. 16!

The 2017 Ashoka U Exchange, co-hosted by Miami Dade College, will take place on March 2-4, 2017 in Miami, Florida. You won’t want to miss one of the largest global conferences on educating people to be changemakers. Get a taste for the conversations happening at the 2017 Exchange and check out the newly released agenda here!

To be eligible for the early-bird rate, you must submit your Exchange application no later than November 16. The early bird registration fee is only $699. Beginning on November 17, the registration fee will increase to $850. If you are a student, we hold a limited number of student tickets at the rate of $475. Once sold out, students tickets cost $699.

Spring 2017 Ashoka U Commons Applications Now Open!

Applications are now open for the Ashoka U Commons, a virtual accelerator for institutions developing social innovation education on their campuses.

Over the course of three months, Commons participants, grouped in “cohorts”, collaborate with leaders from peer institutions that are working toward similar goals. Experienced coaches guide participants in developing individualized objectives – such as designing social innovation course curriculum or venture programs – and support in advancing the goals of their cohort.

Applications for the next session of the Commons (January – April 2017) are open now through January 6th, 2017.

2017 Case Writing Competition, oikos

oikos is now accepting submissions for the oikos 2017 Case Writing Competition. This year they seek teaching cases about the following topics: Corporate Sustainability, Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Finance. The top submissions will receive a monetary prize. Master of Arts in Social Innovation, University of San Diego + Scholarship Info

University of San Diego has launched a Master of Arts in Social Innovation (MASI) at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. This full or part-time program includes a capstone project that gives students the option to work on a real-world project and receive seed funding through USD’s Social Innovation Challenge. The application deadline is March 15, 2017. Note: 25% tuition discounts available to individuals in the Ashoka U community.

Applications are now open for Amani Institute’s 9-month post-graduate certificate in Social Innovation Management. Amani’s approach helps participants unlock potential to make an impact, extend global networks, and learn key professional skills from C-suite global leaders.
