Changemaker Education Track Overview Attend Attend Code of Conduct Content Previous Agendas Agenda Councils FAQs Exchange Logistics & FAQs Host Sponsors Changemaker Education Track This track will provide participants with opportunities to engage in deep dialogue in how we as trusted adults, teachers, program leaders, faculty, researchers, parents, siblings, extended family, and students can support the young people in our lives on their journey to become changemakers. The track will consist of three sessions dedicated to exploring the social impact and educational work that involves youth who, around the world, are taking the lead to innovate and solve real-life problems. We invite Exchange participants from all disciplines to join us in exploring ways to create change at the personal, organizational and systemic levels in service of the rising movement of young changemakers around the world. Thursday, April 16, 2020 2:15pm – 3:15pm EDT | Building Changemakers: The Inner Work This experiential workshop will invite participants to explore their ‘inner landscape’ and develop a deeper understanding of what we need to pay attention to within ourselves as we enable and support the next generation of Changemakers. 3:45pm – 4:45pm EDT | Building Changemakers: Strategies and Tactics In this session participants will learn and share proven strategies and ideas designed to support the next generation of changemakers. Together we will think through the most powerful tactics and strategies to build changemaking skills including empathy, teamwork, new leadership, and creative and complex problem solving, and how to integrate them into systems and our day-to-day routines at home and online.
