What is the status of the Exchange given COVID-19?

After much discussion with our host, the University of St. Thomas, the Ashoka U team, our partners, and community members, we have made the decision to take the 2020 Exchange completely virtual. You can keep up with our updates here.

When is the Exchange?

The virtual Exchange will take place over the dates we have always planned. Please continue to hold April 16 – 17 on your calendars. View our agenda here.

What will a virtual Exchange include?

The 2020 Exchange will include:

  • 45+ Exchange sessions presented as webinars with an opportunity to engage with content and connect directly to speakers.
  • Two plenary sessions
  • Access to video recordings of all sessions after the Exchange
  • Exclusive access the attendee list and contact information
  • Platform to connect with other attendees (available before the conference)

I already booked my hotel, how do I cancel? 

We recommend reaching out to the Marriott Minneapolis City Center directly to cancel. The hotel will honor all cancellations made up to 72 hours before your original check-in date. Click here for more information on cancellation steps.

I already booked my flight, what can I do? 

Following the COVID-19 outbreak, many US-based airlines are relaxing ticket restrictions and offering flexible/waived cancellation and change fees. Even if your flight has not been affected or canceled, you might be eligible to receive airline credit.

Is there an easy way to register a group?

If you have a group of 3 or more you’d like to register, visit our group registration form. For any questions related to group registration, please contact Araseli Lara at alara@ashoka.org.

What if I can’t participate in all of the sessions I am interested in?

Post the Exchange, attendees will have access to recordings of all Exchange sessions.

How can I obtain a copy of my Exchange registration receipt?

Our ticketing system will email you a receipt to the email listed on your registration information. If you did not receive it, please contact Araseli Lara at alara@ashoka.org.

How can I share my program with the entire Exchange community?

You can purchase an advertisement in the Exchange program to spread your message. A limited number is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All ads will be printed in color. Please contact Araseli Lara at alara@ashoka.org for more details.
