Slapping a bandage on the area’s social issues with temporary fixes hasn’t been working. There isn’t much money and resources are slim, but there are minds willing to generate ideas — and they’re stemming from students at Hamilton College.
Ashoka U recognized Western with its prestigious Changemaker Campus title on Wednesday, Oct. 1, in recognition of Western’s sustainable and innovative lifestyle. The Changemaker Campus designation has been awarded to 29 university campuses worldwide since the program began in 2008. The title is given to those that excel in campus-wide social innovation education.
