As an Ashoka U Changemaker Campus, the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) champions community-engaged learning and research that turn ideas into action across and beyond the Fraser Valley.

UFV embraces changemaking as a lens to address contemporary challenges and shape a more equitable future for its students, employees, and communities. Through creative problem-solving and a dedication to understanding the human impacts of issues, UFV strives towards a future of engaged, empowered citizens. 

How does UFV do that? With four guiding principles: empowerment, decolonization and Indigenizationsustainability, and reciprocity. By approaching every challenge with these four values, UFV aims to improve the lives of the people in and around the campus' community.
