Leading Transformation in Turbulent Times

Collaborative Learning Journey

June 12-13, 2025, New York City, NY

A diverse cohort of participants from 5 countries came together to make the most of this historic moment.

Participants

  • Explored their unique changemaker identities with the Changemaker Index™ and by sharing their changemaker stories.
  • Mapped out stakeholders across their unique ecosystems.
  • Discovered new ways to align visions and secure support from key constituents.
  • Came together as a community to ideate and support one another as lessons from the workshop are translated into action back home.

Together, we answered these questions:

We find ourselves facing major disruptions at home, in our programs, and across our campuses. Uncertainty and rapid, disconcerting change are parts of our everyday experience. What we think we know now may very well not be the case in the next month - or even in the next week.

  • How can we manage these disruptions in productive ways?
  • How can we adapt to an uncertain future?
  • How can we make plans for a future that is unknowable?
  • How do we help our students and our colleagues to adapt to this constant change in ways that we all thrive?

Right now, colleges and universities face unique challenges that demand adaptability, innovative, and visionary leadership.

Participants discovered ways in which they could bring adaptable, innovative, and visionary leadership to their institutions.
