The global higher education sector should play a key role in helping the world achieve the SDGs and to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. However, faculty, staff, and institutions are not yet equipped to play this role. The sector must be transformed. Institutions must shift from their current hierarchical, insular, and change-adverse ways of operating towards models that embrace diverse perspectives, are interconnected, and are agile.

Goals of this convening: identify and create synergistic collaborations to build the capacity of higher education stakeholders and create systemic change.
